At Kindness in Crisis, our purpose is to ensure no family faces hardship alone during times of crisis.
Our Impact So Far
- Served 300+ meals at Children’s Hospital at Memorial Health in Savannah, GA with hand-painted to-go boxes by local artists.
- Donated surplus food to The Salvation Army, helping provide Thanksgiving meals to 100 individuals.
- Stocked the Parents’ Lounge with food and coffee for two months.
- Provided meals for 80 children and adults through Chick-fil-A.
- Secured 30 days of housing for a young adult aging out of foster care.
- Delivered meals to a halfway house.
- Committed to transportation support for families in need.
- Committed to 6 months of housing assistance.
- Facilitated mentorship connections.
- Received donations and issued acknowledgment letters.
- Completed federal nonprofit filings.
This is what our future “more” looks like
- Partnering with Ronald McDonald House Charities to ensure no parent sleeps in a car while their child is hospitalized.
- Launching a yoga and wellness program at the hospital.
- Bringing brothers and sisters separated by Foster Care together for a good meal and a reunion
